Why I do what I do
While the Army, I was injured multiple times, eventually leading to a medical discharge. Conventional medical treatments have only aggravated these conditions. Massage provides the only relief from the pain I experience as a result. After seeing this and the benefits others have received through massage, my wife and friends encouraged me to pursue formal training to share these benefits with those around me, since I can personally relate so well to the experiences of those I would work on.
When I began massage school, I knew massage had therapeutic uses, but had no idea of the many medical benefits as well. Now my desire is to share with all who are willing to receive the benefits of improved health and better living through massage.
